Ayoub Privacy Policy
1. Your privacy in Ayoub
Ayoub helps you plan missed prayers and keep track of daily prayers. We respect the privacy of your worship data.
Ayoub does not require an account. It has no ads, tracking tools, or tools that measure app use for the developer.
This policy covers the Ayoub app. It does not cover external websites or services that you choose to open.
2. Data the app uses
Ayoub uses the data needed for the features you use. This data is stored within the app on your device.

Any personal statistics shown by the app are calculated on your device for you. They are not sent to the developer.
3. Data collection and sharing
Ayoub does not send your prayer data, qada plans, or location to the developer or to developer-operated servers.
We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers. The app does not use third-party tools to track you or send crash reports from within the app.
Prayer times are calculated on your device. Your location does not need to be sent to a server.
4. Permissions
Location: You can select your city manually without granting location permission. If you choose to use your location, the app uses it to calculate prayer times. It does not continuously track your movements or collect your location in the background.
Notifications and reminders: The app may request the permissions needed to show reminders at the right time. You can change these permissions in your device settings.
You can still use the app with a manually selected city if you deny location access. Turning off notifications may prevent reminders from appearing.
5. Storage and protection
App data is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. Its protection depends on the safeguards provided by your operating system and the security of your device.
The developer does not keep a copy of your prayer records and cannot view or restore them for you.
6. Backups and data transfers
Your operating system may back up some app settings, depending on your device settings.
The prayer database is excluded from the app’s automatic cloud backup. Your operating system may transfer data directly between devices, depending on the system and its version.
If you choose to export or share data through an available app feature, you choose where to save the file and who receives it. Any copy stored with an external service is covered by that service’s policy.
Deleting data from Ayoub does not delete copies you previously saved or shared outside the app.
7. Retention and deletion
Local data stays on your device until you delete it.
You can remove app data using the available system controls, such as clearing app data on Android or deleting the app on iOS. The options may vary by device.
The developer holds no copy that you need to ask us to delete. You must delete external copies separately from wherever you saved them.
8. Contacting us and external services
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any files you send. We use them to respond to your request. Please avoid sending prayer records or sensitive data unless they are needed for your request.
We keep support messages as needed to handle the request or meet any legal duty that applies.
Apple, Google, or your email provider may process data under their own policies and your settings. This is separate from the prayer data stored within Ayoub.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s behavior changes. We will update the effective date at the top of this page.
If a new feature changes how your data is processed or shared, we will explain this before you use it and ask for consent where required.
